Stage Format First-to-3 / First-to-4 MapPick

✓ Key Competitive Edges

✓ Loser-picks-mode format (Control, Escort, Hybrid, Push, Flashpoint) prevents repetitive map sweeps
✓ Korean OWCS (Crazy Raccoon, Team Falcons) vs EMEA/NA clashes provide sharp map handicap opportunities
✓ Live ultimate-economy and composition swaps reward attentive in-play bettors

✗ Wagering Limits & Trade-Offs

✗ Hero ban systems in select tournaments can disrupt dive vs brawl specialist teams

The Overwatch Champions Series (OWCS) powers global 5v5 competitive Overwatch 2 across Korea, North America, EMEA, and Asia, culminating in international LAN Majors and the Esports World Cup. Because the losing team of the previous map selects the next game mode (Control, Escort, Hybrid, Push, or Flashpoint), rosters with diverse dive, brawl, and poke hero pools dominate First-to-3 and First-to-4 playoff series.
