This policy explains how FoxyPulse researches, writes and maintains its articles about esports tournaments and seasons.
Scope
FoxyPulse covers tournament and season formats, qualification, prize pools and schedules, plus betting guides and calculators for adults. We do not publish individual match previews, predictions or “locks”, and we do not run a live score or odds feed.
Sources
- Formats, rules, schedules and prize pools come from the organisers and publishers first: rulebooks and official sites such as counter-strike.net, lolesports.com, valorantesports.com and dota2.com.
- Community wikis and results databases (for example Liquipedia) are used to cross-check, not as the only source.
- Numbers we cannot source are not published. Statistics from a third party are named and linked.
Dates and updates
- Every article shows when it was last updated. Tournament hubs show a “last reviewed” date.
- When an event ends, its page is updated with the result or taken out of search indexing; we do not leave previews of finished events presented as current.
- Duplicate pages on the same topic are merged into one URL.
Authors and AI
Articles are published under the pen names listed on our About page. Some drafts are prepared with the help of AI tools; an editor reviews and edits every piece before publication. The Persephone chat is an AI chatbot and is labelled as such.
Independence
FoxyPulse earns affiliate commissions from some sportsbook links (see our affiliate disclosure). Commercial partners do not review or approve articles, and we do not sell rankings or coverage.
Corrections
If you spot an error, tell us through the contact page. Factual corrections are made promptly and the article’s updated date changes.
